WhatsOn Magazine recently teamed up with Veronica McAleer and The MAKUP Academy to run a hugely popular competition.
The Academy offers exceptional yet affordable training in all aspects of hair design and makeup. All students receive personal attention from Veronica, who is still very much active in the industry, having worked last year with Tim Burton on the crowd-room makeup for the live action remake of “Dumbo”.
WhatsOn is a news and culture guide covering a wide range of areas including events, shopping, fashion, travelling and student life.
The exciting competition meant that two lucky people would win the chance to spend a day to remember with Oscar nominated hair and makeup designer, Veronica. The winners would enjoy a day of bespoke training and the opportunity to ask any questions they may have about working in the glamorous world of film and television!
