Andrew has had an illustrious theatre career for over 19 years, having spent much of that time at Birmingham Rep as Head of Makeup and Wigs. He designed and created wigs, hair and makeup for hundreds of productions, including Cabaret, The Wizard of Oz, A Christmas Carol, East is East, The Witches, Noises Off, Of Mice and Men, Little Shop of Horrors, The Crucible and Peter Pan.

Since embarking on a solo career in 2015, Andrew has done wig and hair work for the Disney live-action movie, Beauty and the Beast, as well as being involved in the final season of Downton Abbey.

Andrew is a certified State Registered Senior Hairdresser and committee member of the National Association of Screen Make-up Artists and Hairdressers.

Janita Doyle

Visiting Tutor

Janita is a Television Makeup and Hair Designer with a prolific track record in TV production. Based in Manchester, the epicenter of television production, Janita has an excellent reputation and works constantly.

Having trained at the BBC, she now specialises in airbrushing as part of her professional makeup application for HD productions.

Her recent TV work includes Boy Meets Girl (2015), Coronation Street (2015), Banana (2014) and Remember Me (2014).
