Since the very first day of my graduation I’ve had some amazing job opportunities. I worked on a short film called “Blood” as a makeup artist in the first week of my graduation. It was a one day job but the experience was great. It was the very first time that I saw a shooting and it was very interesting.
I’ve worked in different areas since the completion of my course. I also worked on a music video for an instagram band. The whole video was shot in a hotel room and I was a very close part of it. I was handling the hair and makeup alone. Thanks to Veronica’s intensive training, I was very confident in what I was doing. I was appreciated for my professionalism and talent.
I also got a chance to work for a theatre show, “The Greatest Showman Ever”. This was a wonderful experience. We were told be as creative as possible and it was all about big bold hair and makeup. I got to experience the backstage hustle bustle of a theatre, the time limits that the artists have. Working in a theatre prepared me for major future jobs.
One of the most superb job opportunities that I got through this wonderful course was when I worked for Marvel Productions. It has to be by far the most amazing experience in my work life. I worked as a makeup trainee for 10 days on the sets of Black Widow. It was shot in London in Pinewood Studios. I was really nervous to start this new job but I also felt like I was very well prepared by my tutor. I followed everything that I was taught on the course and it helped a lot. From day 1 of the course, we were being trained as if it were a working environment. It really helps you in the future when you get on work with such big companies. I’m very grateful for proper training and such amazing job opportunity.
