“I have just got back from a week in Spain as part of a 21-week shoot for a TV series. I was working for an American company as a trainee on the Main Team. It’s the most amazing experience I could have wished for after only graduating at MAKUP academy in February. Veronica found out about these roles and recommended a few of her students and out of all the applicants only 2 students (myself and 2017 graduate Lance) got the jobs! This is amazing and is a massive credit to Veronica and the Academy. I have been complimented on my set ettiquette and that is down to Veronica’s preparation for the role. I have been lucky enough to work with some amazing people and make some great contacts. I am learning every day, however I really feel confident after the training I received from Veronica. MAKUP is one of the best makeup training academies and I feel confident when asked to help out on crowd scenes, as I know the products and tools that are required. I have been lucky enough to be able to do the main child actors and actresses and also some crowd makeup including “dirtying down”. Being a mature student at 30 I was skeptical about going into learning again, but MAKUP is honestly the best thing I have ever done. People on this job can’t believe I have only been in the industry for a few months and I am really confident about my future in this industry, all thanks to Veronica and MAKUP”.
